Zen Pencils

 When I was a student, graded readers didn’t use to satisfy me. I always wanted to read something original. Then I became a teacher and I saw that some of my students have the same feeling. Then I decided to present them authentic materials which can be understood with a little help of dictionaries or someone. It’s not easy to read authentic texts but some of them can be.

There is a new web page which I am really happy to share; Zen Pencils which was created by Gavin Aung Than. He presents us some motivational comic stories and posters

Gavin Aung Than is a freelance cartoonist based in Melbourne, Australia. After working in the corporate graphic design industry for 8 years he quit his unfulfilling job at the end of 2011 to focus on his true passion, drawing cartoons. Gavin launched Zen Pencils at the start of 2012, a cartoon blog which adapts inspirational quotes into comic stories, and hasn’t looked back since.

You should definitely visit and spend sometime there. I am sure you will enjoy every minute of it and also it will make a difference in your language learning journey.

Here is my favorite artwork of Gavin Aung Than;
